So...you are probably wondering,
just what is the deal with Halloway?
At first glance, it looks like any normal small town...
It's the kind of place where neighbors wave and chat over picket fences, kids ride their bikes, eat healthy snacks, and get home before dark, and the biggest concern is forgetting to grab an umbrella in case it starts raining.
Now let's take a closer look...
Because Halloway also happens to be home to supernatural mysteries, ancient secrets, a certain sarcastic digital dude with hair that would rival most demigods.
**Except Thor, we all agree nobody's flowing mane is better than his...sorry Nick, you were out-voted.
There's also a cryptic librarian with a gravity defying hair-Bun that has a very intimidating, disapproving stare (how it manages that without a FACE or EYES, I have no idea...), and we're also pretty sure it may actually affect ocean tides, but it hasn't been proven...yet.
And if that weren't enough already, we've got: teen vamps, sleazy ghost ancestors, a weasel-faced uncle that definitely steals grandma's jewelry at her funeral, woodland critters with quirky personalities, self esteem issues, and skill sets that even surprised me!
**Quick heads-up, watch your wallet around Rascal...
Now at this point you might be thinking this is a whole lotta crazy, but guess what? This is just another Tuesday.
Wait 'til you meet the other guys...
AND, of course, there's always plenty of chaos, enough to keep it interesting, anyway.
And at the center of it all:
Guy & Buddy.
Guy is your average, run-of-the-mill, human teenage dude. Mostly...
Buddy is his new "bestie." A real life teenage sentient AI with a big ol'...
The journey they are about to begin will be filled with old and new enemies, danger, struggle, pain, and loss.
But it will also be filled with old and new friends, courage, love, compassion, understanding,
joy, and hope.
So, there it is folks, in a nutshell.
At this point most people will have already started running, not daring to look back.
But you're still here.
